How we work
INITIAL INTERVIEW
We conduct an initial interview with the parents to specify the situation that led them to the consultation, and to obtain information about the child and his or her immediate environment. After this first interview, if the parents are satisfied, we make a new appointment to see the child and begin the evaluation phase.
EVALUATION AND DIAGNOSIS
We carry out an evaluation with the appropriate professional or professionals for the case. Once the problem is detected and the diagnosis is issued, we hold the return meeting with the parents, where they are given the evaluation report with the proposal of the treatment to follow.
INTERVENTION
After having evaluated the child and assessed the situation, we establish the lines of action for each specific case. Each child will receive individualized treatment adjusted to their personal and circumstantial characteristics. The duration and price of the sessions will depend on the type of treatment.
FOLLOW-UP AND END OF TREATMENT
As the treatment progresses, we hold information exchange sessions with the parents, as well as daily feedback on the work done in session. We are also in contact with the school throughout this process. In these sessions we restate the objectives to be treated until we reach all the objectives and it is proposed to end the treatment by analyzing the current state of the child.
